Election Candidate Information
To get
started please checkout the North Carolina
Finance Manual.
This Manual will assist you with becoming more familiar with campaign
finance laws and procedures.
Once you have
decided to file as a candidate, you should file a Statement of
Organization creating your political committee. This will allow you to
receive Contributions and/or make expenditures. Please complete one of
the two documents below depending on the amount of money you plan to
spend and receive:
Statement of
Organization forms are filed with the Dare County Board of Elections.
Before completing the forms, contact the Dare County Board of Elections
to ensure the forms are completed properly and to answer any questions.
