Education and Experience Requirements: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in foods and nutrition, public health nutrition, or dietetics and one year of nutrition experience; or completion of an ADA approved dietetic internship with ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility preferred or master’s degree in nutrition or public health nutrition with ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility preferred: or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid NC Drivers License and pre-employment drug testing required. Salary Range: $16.59 - $26.54 per hour plus benefits.

In addition this position will provide home health nutritional services and community nutrition education and outreach. Clients are referred from in-house programs as well as referrals from area health care agencies and providers.
Education and Experience Requirements: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, public health nutrition or dietetics, two years of nutrition experience plus ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligible or a master's degree in nutrition or public health nutrition and one year of nutrition experience, plus ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maternity Care Coordinator
Dare County Health Department is accepting applications for a Maternity Care Coordinator. Description of Duties: Join an innovative team committed to quality public health through case management and prevention services! The Maternity Care Coordinator will provide case management to plan, organize, direct and monitor care provided to pregnant women. Will develop goals to increase client access to health and support services, reduce infant mortality and morbidity and improve the quality of life for enrolled clients. The MCC will also provide home visitation for assessments and assurance of care plan implementation goals and to offer education and counseling. In addition, the position is responsible for program coordination activities and may be asked to provide care in the clinic setting. Special consideration will be given to applicants that are able to communicate with Spanish speaking clients to collect information and determine service needs.
Education and Experience Requirements: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or Master’s in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience including one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience; preferably with community health nursing and experience with pregnancy care. Second language skills a plus, preferably in Spanish.
Special Requirements: Registered Nurse with current North Carolina nursing license required. North Carolina Drivers license required. Pre-employment drug test and background check required. Full salary range: $41,074-$65,718.

Responsibilities include providing supportive personal care to patients in their homes, performing nursing assistance acts such as catheter insertion, wound care, tube feedings, and enemas as well as assisting with physical exercises (training and competency certification will be provided for these tasks).
